2 months agoTaco Chon is ALWAYS a slam dunk! Every time my family and I go into that restaurant, we are instantly greeted like family. It's such a wonderful atmosphere that the owner and his family has created. We have even catered with them multiple times, and it's always amazing. Thank you, Taco Chon, for being such a great place to come have some great food, great atmosphere, great laughs with the owner and his beautiful family, and overall, an EXCELLENT experience every single time we come in! The James Family loves you all! ❤️

3 months agoMy wife and I are regulars. We make the drive from Allen,Texas. We love the tacos,menudo,tortas and corn in the cup. Unfortunately today we drove to Taco Laziness. Normally the service is spectacular but today they had two young girls that look like they did not want to be there. They where not friendly or rude because the never acknowledge us. They had an attitude like hopefully we leave don’t order anything. They look like the two young girls were lost. We can tell they where back up on distributing the food out to the customers.The restaurant was quite because they where not many customers. Usually we have too wait for a table to clear. Today my wife and I got a bad vibe. We decided to go somewhere else. Hopefully it was just today or we just have to find another place to go eat tacos. It would be ashame.

8 months agoHad their breakfast tacos. Taste buds were extremely excited after my first bite. Will be returning, they have hot oil on the weekends 🤌🏻🤌🏻 and their spiciest salsa was amazing. Will be returning.

10 months agoTaco Chon is hands down one of the best taco spots I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a vibe that feels authentic and inviting. The food is next-level. Every bite is packed with flavor, freshness, and quality you can truly taste. The tacos are perfectly seasoned, the meats are tender, and their salsas bring just the right kick without overpowering the flavor. You can tell they put real passion into their cooking. On top of that, the service is fast and friendly, and the portions are generous for the price. I kid you not, I always crave it immediately the next day after having their delicious food. If you’re in Haltom City and craving authentic, flavorful tacos, and much more, Taco Chon is the spot. Highly recommend!

a year agoIf I could give them 10 stars, I would! As someone from California, specifically Los Angeles, it can be hard to find Mexican food that reminds me of home, especially in Texas. But Taco Chon Mexican Restaurant does exactly that! Their food is fresh, hot, and authentic—just like King's Taco or Ramona's back in California. The people running this place are extremely nice, and their customer service is top-notch. The restaurant itself is also extremely clean, which is something I really appreciate. They don’t skimp on the details: they provide plenty of napkins (without having to ask) and aren't stingy with the sauce, which is a huge plus compared to other places that often forget condiments. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food. Great customer service, great food, a clean environment, and a cook who knows what they’re doing!

2 years agoSomeone told me that this place had good food! They were wrong Taco Chon has amazingly delicious food! All the meats were full of flavor and cooked to perfection! Customer service was fast and friendly. Dining area is super clean and spotless! The bar on left of the dining area serves real margaritas!
